Barry and Darcel loaned us their golf cart for Dagmar's mother Ruth touse.
Barry and Darcel loaned us their golf cart for Dagmar's mother Ruth to use. Ruth is still recovering from knee surgery and this makes it a lot easier for her to get around in the park. Boy, does she love this thing!!
Wednesday evening we listened to Three International Tenors, what greatvoices!
Wednesday evening we listened to Three International Tenors, what great voices!! They sang many classical opera pieces and were easily Ruth's favorite music. She was so thrilled and afterwards were able to meet and speak to each one. Afterwards we had a little party in the motorhome just enjoying the evening.
Thursday Voyager baseball team played in the season ending tournament.
Thursday Voyager baseball team played in the season ending tournament. We lost both games and were quickly eliminated from the tournament. We only won a single game all season although we were very competitive. Still we enjoyed our season immensely and are looking forward to next year. At our age it is just good if we don't injure ourselves. In the tournament we lost 3 players in the two games to injury, mostly pulled hamstrings,etc. Afterwards we had a great season ending picnic.

Sunday we headed over to Oregano's Pizza for lunch.
Sunday we headed over to Oregano's Pizza for lunch. We shared a thin crust pizza with Bill & Shirley, our half had pepperoni and sausage, theirs...ham & pineapple. Wow was it good!! Ruth opted for the Bruschett, they must have used 3 whole tomatoes on it. Oregano's is always busy, we waited about 1/2 hour for seating, and with food like this it is no wonder. We spent the remainder of the afternoon visiting local Thrift Stores, that's a story for another day.
Well, today the dogs thought that they would try a different position!

On Thursday we enjoyed lunch at Beyond Bread, something like Panera'sbut a little better and cheaper.

After that we did some browsing at Annabelles Attic, a local second hand shop. Then we decided to take the 9 mile desert loop at Sanuaro National Park. We go so hot we had to finish up at Montgomery's Bar & Grill in Vail, with a couple of beers.
