Two years ago we set out to hike to the top of Flatiron Peak onSuperstition Mountain.
Two years ago we set out to hike to the top of Flatiron Peak on Superstition Mountain. We got lost on the path and didn't make it to the top but we never forgot our dream to climb it and cross it off our bucket list. Yesterday we finally got too go up again, and this time we made it to the top!!

Thanks Susan, sailing on schooner in the Caribbean is still on my list.
Mine would include going to live in Europe for a few months and visiting Tuscany/Italy. Also riding my bike across some place far,far!!(Dagmar)
Congratulations on making it to the top of Flatiron. The pictures are spectactular. Wish I was ten years younger I would have gone with you.
You know Joe, you should probably give it a try. Just go at your own pace, if it gets too hard you can always turn around. Steve, our guide, said he tried it three times before he was able to do it.
Excellent work Dave and thank you. The pictures are great and I appreciate the captions, as well. 3 hours start-to-finish in that terrain is very impressive for a 'retired' guy ;-) Way to go!!
