Its been a long time since the dogs had a really good run so we decided to take them on a nice hike on Mt. Lemon. We chose to the Sycamore Reservoir Trail which was a rugged spot where the government put a Japanese World War II internment camp. Not much left but a few rusted water pipes, several concrete foundations and of course the reservoir. Our friend Bill Boyce, who's starting to warm up to our dogs, agreed to go with us. In fact, it was at Bill's suggestion that we chose the Sycamore Trail.

We spent a wonderful New's Years Eve Party in the Val Vista Ballroom dancing to the sounds of the Big Zephr. They were really, really good! The theme was an evening in Paris, so we went with our friends from Canada, Al & Brenda, to the costume trailers that Val Vista maintains and borrowed some clothes for the occasion. We then spent the evening dining and dancing until our champagne toast at midnight. No quite wanting to call it an evening we talked ourselves into going for a dip in the Fiesta Park's pool and hot tub. Didn't get back to the motorhome until after 2am!! Unfortunately this is the day we have to move to Tucson so we have to get this rig packed and on the road before noon!!
