Well moving day finally came and it was time to say goodbye to the '98 Newmar Dutchstar. We traded the Dutchstar in on a 2005 Monoco Windsor with just 26,000 miles. We spent all day moving our things from one coach to the next, not finishing until 7:30pm. We spent the night across the street at the Lowes store because there were still a couple of things we had to finish back at La Mesa, our dealer, the next morning. From there is was back to the Valle Del Oro RV Park to begin the organizing everything in our new home. We were pretty exhausted by the time we arrived. Looking forward to getting back to normal playing rather than all this work!!

WOW WHAT SPACE R U IN? BEAUTIFUL!!
Wow! That's what I call a Land Yacht. Very similar to living on a boat except that you have a Lot better head clearance
many people that live in RV's refer to them as Land Yachts. We actually refer to ours as a "camper".
The head room is very important for me, being 6' 2". This coach has a whole 5" more of head room, I'm loving it!
Looks luxurious! And u didn't have to hire movers or a truck!
Larry, we are in 656 in VDO, but we are leaving for Tucson for a couple of days next week for a Pickleball Tournament. We plan on doing an open house after we get back. Looking forward to seeing everyone from VVV.
Kathi, no moving truck but we could have used some movers!!
Should have put a plank straight across from one door to the other!
Actually we were parked door to door, and I had already emptied out our basement, but it still took us about 8 hours just to cart things over and find a spot for them. It will be weeks before we get it organized again in the new place. But it's still fun!!!
Wow!! Sweet ride!!
I guess.......70k???
Yes, after trade-in!!
Figured!!! Its a beauty!!
What basement?
The whole bottom half of the coach is basement storage! !
Its gorgeous!! Dagmar has lots more room to fill up!!!!
Diesel Pusher??
Actually more open space, but less storage than the Dutchstar coach. So we have been working on reorganizing and weeding things out.
So, Susie, not more room to fill up.
Yes, and so was the Dutchstar.
Really! Less storage space?
Less cabinet space inside. No more ducking under and hitting my head on those pesky cabinets, but alas, less room to store things. Probably good in the long term as it forces us to constantly weed out the things we're not using.
Looks very very nice!! Good for you!! Enjoy!
