Arrived in Boulder on Sunday just in time to share the road with hundreds of bikers in the Ironman competition.  Wow!!, talk about timing, we didn't even know it was going on!! After locating the Boulder Elks club we parked our motorhome and promptly got out our bikes to explore the city. Talk about bike, dog, walk friendly city, this is it, with paths and trails EVERYWHERE!! And people out running, walking, biking, playing in the parks, Awesome!! We visited a local bike shop and it was really, really busy. Then we walked our bikes down through the Pearl Street Mall area just taking in the sights and sounds of city. Boy, were we impressed!! Probably going to stay longer than originally planned.

I think I told you that Boulder is bike friendly. Didn't realize it was that friendly. Have fun there!

I love Boulder! Expensive place to live but gorgeous scenery and people do really love the outdoors there! I wanted to retire to that area but Jerry couldn't accept their winters! Scott is still living in Broomfield and I don't think he will ever leave the Denver area.

Enjoy Colorado! One of my favorite states!
