Just got back to the Motorhome from visiting the Colorado National Monument near Grand Junction, Colorado. Dagmar and I walked around all day with our mouths hanging open, mesmerized by the beauty. Really unbelievable, one of those experiences that makes traveling so wonderful!! Zoom in on this picture to see all the details in the background, its the only way you even begin to appreciate it! I'll post more later as I get time.

Oh no! She's screaming because you made her stand too close to the edge... It is a great view though isn't it. Is that up on Grand Mesa?

Bill Boyce No, Grand Mesa is on the other side of Grand Junction at 10000' plus. This is West of Grand Junction near Fruita, at about 6000'. This Colorado National Monument. Actually she got closer to the edge than I wanted, it is pretty much straight down at that point, probably 3-400' , so not too far.

okay! That is near Escalante and um and Capitol Reef near Fruita. Yes it is awesome there. Especially when you're driving along and the road gets narrower and narrower and you can look straight down one side and dagmar can look straight down on the other side. Woo Hoo!!!
